Ficton Factory – (Feels Like) Heaven

영국 출신의 Fiction Factory는 Depeche Mode 스타일의 싱글 “(Feels Like) Heaven”로 가장 널리 알려졌던 밴드이다. 이들은 춤추기 알맞은 신디싸이저 리듬과 훵키한 베이스라인을 바탕으로 쏘울풀하고 멜랑코리한 팝송을 만들어내는데 재주가 있었다. 특히 Heaven 17과 같은 이들로부터 영향을 받았지만 Kevin Patterson의 깊고 그윽한 보컬은 선배의 곡을 표절하는 것을 넘어서서 Fiction Factory 자신들만의 개성을 부여해주는 결정적 요인 중의 하나였다.
