By Scott Roeben – Own work, CC BY-SA 3.0, Link 80년대 초반 씬쓰팝의 물결이 한창일 즈음 뉴로맨틱 듀오 Naked Eyes는 영국에서 1981년 결성하였다. 학교 친구였던 Pete Byrne(보컬)과 Rob Fisher(키보드)로 결성된 이들은 1983년 Burning Bridges로 데뷔하였다. 대표곡으로는 Always Something There To Remind Me가 있다. 2집 Fuel for the Fire를 내놓은 이들은 상업적 성공에 실패하고 밴드를 해체한다.
